Alan we shared many happy times together, firstly as great friends and work colleagues for many years. Part of you will always be with me and for that I will always be grateful. Our last contact was two years ago and that was very much appreciated and I thank you again for that. You had the greatest sense of humour and was one of the funniest people I knew. Even though I'd not seen you for over 13 years I will not forget the good times. I've listened to Solitaire by The Capenters in your memory as you always said that was your song. May you rest in peace x

Alan, your love for David Bowie was legendary... thankyou for being a great next door neighbour many years ago, for the home made wine and drunken evenings. We had some really fun times. Rest in Peace but keep playing that music loud. Claire xx

Alan was an important part of my life back in the 80s and I'm grateful we managed to get back in contact after all these years.
Going to miss our April meet ups where he'd always complain how expensive the beer was .
Thank you Alan for being who you were xx
